LESSON LEARNED is the perfect album title for Ronnie Reno's first recording on Rural Rhythm Records (released in 2015). Reno's singer/songwriter talents really shine on this 11-song album containing nine songs penned by Ronnie. Each song tells a story about life, love and relationships that pull from his rich experiences that date back to the 1950's. 

Ronnie has had one of the most colorful, diverse and distinguished careers in the music industry. On the country side, he has toured as an opening act and band member for Merle Haggard, toured with Mel Tills, done studio work for Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty and Willie Nelson, and written hits for both Haggard and Twitty. On the bluegrass side, he spent several years providing part of the trademark harmonies of the Osborne Brothers.

As a boy, Ronnie became part of bluegrass greatness when he picked up the mandolin and joined his father's band. His dad, Don Reno, happened to be one-half of Hall of Famer's Reno and Smiley and Ronnie was fortunate to record, travel and make television appearances regularly with the legendary duo. Now Ronnie himself is celebrating 60 years in the music business and still going strong!

Produced by Ronnie Reno, Lessons Learned showcases The Reno Tradition which is Ronnie's current band and also the house band of his highly successful TV show Reno's Old Time Music which airs in prime time on Saturday nights on RFD-TV with 1.2 million monthly viewers.
